Menton is an excellent spot for exploring the French Riviera. Monte Carlo is just 10 mins by train. Villefranche-sur-Mer has a lovely bay and great beaches. Nice is 20 mins by train and has some first class museums and art galleries. San Remo in Italy is well-worth visiting, as is the glorious coastal resort of Antibes in between Nice and Cannes. 

Menton has a good range of beaches in the lovely bay. The town has an excellent market, lots of good restaurants and cafes and the old town is a great place to walk around. Menton is also famous for its impressive gardens and there are 7 main gardens to visit.

This lovely apartment on the sea front in Menton, is located on the first floor of a beautiful apartment building on the Promenade du Soleil. The building was formerly one of the earliest hotels in the town (Hotel Banastron) and the apartment is decorated with lovely old photos of the hotel. Inside, the apartment is spacious, light and airy.

There is no need to rent a car whilst you stay at this apartment. You can catch a bus or train straight from Nice airport to Menton (there is a train station and bus stop near the apartment building). With the beach just a few metres away and the town a 5 minute walk, this apartment rental is very convenient..
