The hamlet of Aiguës-Vives is accessed via a small road which winds its way through the hills. Although you will feel at the end of the earth, civilisation is not far away, with supermarkets, shops and restaurants 15 mins away.

The cottage was formed from 2 separate houses which have been converted into one dwelling. It has 4 floors, 2 of which are accessed by a circular staircase.

Ground floor

Due to the 60cm thick stone walls, the ground floor remains a comfortable 22°C all year around

• There is a dining room with large table and a vaulted ceiling. The dining room provides access out onto the terrace and pool
• The sitting room features a high vaulted ceiling. There is a large sofa and 2 armchairs.
• The kitchen has been recently refurbished and comes with an oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and Espresso machine.

First floor

A circular staircase takes you up to the first floor.

• Bedroom 1 is a large bedroom which comes with a double bed, bedside cabinets and a wardrobe. The bedroom comes with air conditioning.
• There is a bathroom on this floor with a shower cubicle, wash basin and WC

Second floor

A circular staircase takes you up to the second floor

• Bedroom 2 is a lovely room with exposed beams, twin beds and air conditioning.
• There is a large lounge with a comfortable sofa and 3 armchairs. The lounge features air conditioning and a wood burner. A set of French windows lead out onto a large terrace with lovely views over the village and the hills beyond. The terrace comes with a large electric awning and a patio table and chairs. This is the perfect place to enjoy evening drinks or a meal. 
• There is a WC on this floor
• There is a newly renovated dining room, with separate kitchenette.
• There is a separate entrance to the cottage on this floor, with a small terrace area.

Third floor

Stairs take you up to the top floor.

• There is a small TV lounge at the top of the stairs with a small sofa.
• There is a large dressing room, which leads onto the newly refurbished bathroom. The bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.
• Bedroom 3 is fitted with twin beds. The bedroom features exposed wooden beams and has fabulous views. The bedroom comes with air conditioning.
• Bedroom 4 is the master bedroom and comes with a King-size double bed, bedside cabinets and antique wardrobes. The bedroom comes with air conditioning and also has stunning views. 

Outside

• There is a large terrace in between the house and the pool, perfect for sun bathing.
• The swimming pool is 8m x 4m and comes with a security fence.
• There is a raised terrace with patio table and chairs. This is ideal for al-fresco meals from the barbecue.
• There is a small annexe, with a summer kitchen on the ground floor and 2 single beds on the loft above. This can be used for guests who come to stay or for teenagers wanting their own space.
• Below the terrace, there is a small garage and a separate parking space (gated). There are two additional parking spaces in front of the garage.

The rental price includes the linen, towels and end of stay cleaning. For reservations, you can pay a 25% deposit at the time of booking and the balance and security deposit (€500) can be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer.
