Chateau for rent South France - facilities

The Château is comprised of 3 connected sections: the Main house, the Angel apartment and the Watchtower duplex apartment. 

Main house

• You enter the main house into the large kitchen which contains a large kitchen table and antique sideboard. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large range oven, gas hob, a second oven, microwave, dishwasher, large American fridge-freezer, and plenty of cooking utensils.
• The spacious living room comes with a working fireplace, exposed beams, 3 sofas and a flat screen TV. There is a large dining table with seating for 10-12 people. A set of French windows provides access out onto the large terrace.
• Bedroom 1 is accessed via a small staircase. The bedroom comes with a Queen sized double bed and an en suite bathroom, containing a bath, overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
• Bedroom 2 contains a double bed and has access to a 'Jack & Jill bathroom' shared with Bedroom 3. The bathroom contains a bath, overhead shower, double sinks and a WC.
• Bedroom 3 is fitted with a double bed, dressing table and en suite bathroom.
• Bedroom 4 is a large suite containing a double bed, large antique wardrobe, kitchenette (with hob, sink and fridge) and an en suite bathroom (with shower, wash basin and WC). A set of French windows provide access to a quiet terrace with Orange tree and Mediterranean plants.

Angel apartment

• You enter the apartment into the large entrance hall/sitting room. This room features a stone fireplace, antique chairs and period features. 
• The entrance hall leads to the 'Angel Room' - which was formerly the music room of the Chateau and features a stunning Fresco on the ceiling.
• Bedroom 1 is located just off the Angel Room and is fitted with a double bed and en suite bathroom. The bathroom comes with a walk-in shower and wash basin.
• A small corridor leads down to the kitchen, lounge, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
• The kitchen is equipped an oven, gas hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and plenty of cooking utensils.
• Bedroom 2 comes with a double bed and wardrobe.
• Bedroom 3 is fitted with 2 single beds.
• The bathroom features a shower, wash basin and a separate WC.
• The spacious lounge comes with a working fireplace, large sofa, book cases and a table and chairs. The lounge has a large set of patio doors which open out onto the terrace.

Watchtower duplex apartment

This 2 bedroom apartment is ideally set up for a small family or for Grandparents. The apartment is laid out over 2 floors

Ground floor

• You enter the apartment into the entrance hall which is fitted with a large antique sideboard and a long dining table. There is also a Guest toilet and a cupboard containing the washing machine.
• There is a dining room beyond the entrance hall. The dining room provides access out onto the terrace through large patio windows.
• The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with an oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of cooking utensils.
• The spacious lounge comes with a working fireplace, large sofa, book cases and a table and chairs. The lounge has a large set of patio doors which open out onto the terrace.
• There is a bathroom located under the mezzanine floor (bedroom 2) which comes with a large walk-in shower and wash basin.

First floor

• Bedroom 1 is reached by its own separate staircase from the entrance hall. The bedroom comes with a double bed, fitted wardrobe and en suite bathroom. The room has exposed stone walls, original beams and beautiful views. The bathroom comes with a walk-in shower, wash basin and a separate WC. 
• Bedroom 2 is located on a mezzanine floor above the living room. It comes with 2 single beds (which can be joined together to form a King size double bed). There are electric blinds (with black out material). There is a WC.

Outside

• There is private parking for several cars.
• The large terrace comes with panoramic views over the local countryside. The terrace has a two patio tables with chairs.
• The Chateau is surrounded by 1.5 hectares of woodland.
• There is a private swimming pool (12m x 5m). The swimming pool is located below the Chateau, accessed by a steps or via a woodland path (driveable by a car). There is a pool house next to the swimming pool with a bar area, BBQ, WC, shower and dining area. There is also a play area with table tennis table.

Chateau Savignac for rent South France - What's included

The rental price includes the linen, towels and end of stay cleaning. Pets may be accepted through prior agreement and there will be a small additional cleaning charge.
