The front door of the property leads into the open plan living which contains the lounge, kitchen and dining room. This L-shaped room features the original exposed beams of the barn. The lounge is furnished with 2 comfortable sofas and an armchair. There is a large television (with Freeview UK channels), stereo, a book case and coffee table. The dining room is fitted with a long wooden table and 10 chairs, together with a small sofa and armchair. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, hob and fridge-freezer. Also on the ground floor there is a fully tiled shower room, containing a shower cubicle, hand basin, toilet, washing machine and ironing board.
A wide staircase leads up to the first floor landing which provides access to the 4 bedrooms and family bathroom. Bedroom 1 is a large bedroom with King-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables. Bedroom 2 is also a good size and is fitted with a King-size bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside tables. Bedroom 3 contains 2 single beds, a wardrobe and 2 bedside tables. The regional wines of Bordeaux, Cahors and Bergerac are well-known outside of France, but you also need to discover the wines of Monbazillic and Pécharment. The region provides many culinary treats including wild mushrooms, truffles, walnuts, as well as fois gras, cheese and various duck dishes. With many local markets to choose from, you can find some excellent fresh local ingredients to bring home and cook up.
