Chez Nadine is a recently modernised 2 bed holiday apartment in the charming village of Nezignan l'Eveque in South France. The apartment comes with a spacious living room, fitted kitchen, modern bathroom with walk-in shower, air conditioning and a large outside space.
Nezignan l'Eveque is a very pretty village, surrounded by vineyards and is just 20 mins to the Mediterranean coast. The historical town of Pezenas is just 3kms away and here you will find a good range of supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the boulangerie, shop, popular bar, excellent Pizza restaurant and an upmarket restaurant at the local hotel.

The holiday apartment is located on the first floor of a wine maker's Atelier. The apartment has its own private outside space and reserved parking spaces. The apartment is located on the edge of this medieval village and you can be walking out amongst the vineyards within 100m of the apartment.
You enter into the spacious living room, with lounge, dining area and kitchen. There is a large semi-circular picture window, with views over the village towards the 10th Century church. The living room has air conditioning.
- The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob , fridge and freezer, Espresso machine and plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery.
- The dining table can seat 4 people.
- The lounge comes with a large corner sofa, flat screen TV and coffee table. There is also a day bed in the lounge (which can also be used for additional sleeping for guests).
- Bedroom 1 comes with a double bed with a luxurious mattress. The bedroom has fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets.
- Bedroom 2 also has a double bed and a dressing area with hanging space, shelves and drawers.
- The bathroom features a modern walk-in shower, large wash basin and WC.
- There is a separate WC, just off the living room.
Outside
There are two outside spaces reserved for guests:
- There is a shaded area next the apartment, with folding table and chairs
- There is a larger summer lounge/bar area, which is partially covered. This area comes with a BBQ and funky bar furniture made from recycled barrels, road signs and drift wood.
- There is parking for 2-3 cars. There is an electronic gate with remote controlled access.

Last visited February 2024. This holiday apartment in South France is a comfortable property in a lovely village near Pezenas. It is practical and has everything you need for a holiday. The apartment comes with a large outdoor space and has plenty of off-road parking. The apartment is located in a very quiet part of the village and within 100m you can be out walking through the vineyards. Chez Nadine is ideal if you want to find self-catering accommodation close to the Mediterranean coast and all the facilities of the historic town of Pezenas. Nezignan l'Eveque is a conveniently located close to Beziers airport and provides easy access to the local motorways. The apartment is very convenient for beaches, the Canal du Midi or exploring the mountains and countryside.

This South of France France holiday apartment is located in the medieval village of Nezignan l´Eveque, which has a range of shops including a baker, mobile butcher, up-market Pizzeria, newsagent, grocer, cafe-bar, hairdresser, beauticians, medical centre and a hotel which has a very good restaurant, where you can also have a cool drink in the courtyard in the summer. The village holds a Music and Wine Festival every July. Other celebrations include Fete L`Ete (June), Bastille (July), Fete Local (July) and Fete des Vendanges (October). Take a walk along the historic route around the village.
It is an ideal spot for a holiday with sandy Mediterranean beaches 15-20 minutes away - visit, Vias Plage (13km) Grau d`Agde, La Tamarissiere, Portiragnes Plage and Valras Plage on the Mediterranean coastline or Meze on the Etang de Thau. Meze and nearby villages of Bouzigues and Marseillan are pretty villages with a good range of restaurants and cafes specialising in fresh oysters and mussels. An alternative to the beach for the children is `Aqualand`, a giant water park in the chic resort of Cap d`Agde.
Just 3 mins drive away, you will find the historic town of Pezenas, with its period architecture and a great choice of restaurants, pavement cafes, art galleries, museums, boutiques and a super Saturday market.
The Canal du Midi, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESO is 15 minutes away. The canal is ideal for hiring barges, cycling or walking along the towpath.
The surrounding area is a wine lover`s paradise with a multitude of local vineyards providing some excellent wines.
There is superb walking available in the Montagnes Noires and the Cevennes. Nearby Lac Salagou is a wonderful freshwater lake for swimming and water sports.
Close by are the cities of Beziers (15 mins), Montpellier (50 mins), Carcassonne (60 mins), Perpignan (60 mins) and Nimes (90 mins).
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in the nearby towns of Agde and Beziers. There is a regular bus service from Nezignan l´Eveque to Agde and from Pezenas to Beziers.
