The Chateau is located just outside the village of Chamboret, 20kms north of Limoges. The apartment is located in the east wing of the Chateau and comes with 2 bedrooms, a beautiful bathroom and is exquisitely decorated throughout. The property is very handy for the airport at Limoges (20 mins drive) and Limoges train station, with services direct to Paris. The property is available for long term rental from September to May for €575 + bills.

The apartment occupies two floors at the eastern end of the chateau and has its own private entrance.
On the ground floor there is a spacious open-plan living room with firepace and exposed beams. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a Smeg fridge-freezer, oven induction hob, espresso machine and plenty of storage space. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, plates, cutlery and glasses. Next to the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine.
There is a round dining table next to the fireplace with seating for 4 people. The fireplace features a wood-burning stove which keeps the room lovely and warm during the winter months. The lounge area features a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV and WiFi.
On the first floor, you will find two tastefully decorate bedrooms. Both bedrooms come with double beds, fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets. The bathroom contains a modern walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet.
The apartment is heated by gas central heating.
Outside: there are spacious grounds surrounding the Chateau, mainly laid to lawn with well-kept flower beds. There is ample parking.

The village of Chamboret is located in the Haute-Vienne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central-western France. The department neighbours with the Dordogne and the beautiful Parc National de Perigord-Limousin straddles the border between the two departments. The village has around 800 inhabitants and features a bar-restaurant and a very well-respected restaurant (Auberge La Lande de Taillac).
There are supermarkets in the neighbouring villages of Nantiat (4km) and Bellac (12km). Bellac also features a weekly market with fresh local produce.
The nearby town of Limoges is a very pretty place, with a lovely historical centre, a stunning medieval Cathedral and a beautiful art-deco train station (often regarded as the most beautiful train station in France).

The village of Chamboret is located just off the N147 main road, which runs in between Brive-la-Gaillarde, Limoges and Poitiers.
The local airport at Limoges is just 20 mins drive away. There are flights to the following airports:
France: Lyon and Paris Orly
UK: London Stansted, East Midlands, Manchester (all year) and Bristol, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick and Southampton (seasonal).
There is a train station in Limoges (15 mins drive), with services to Paris and also to Bordeaux. There is also a local train station at the nearby village of Nantiat, with services to Poitiers and Limoges.
There is a local bus service between Chamboret and Limoges.
The long term rental reservation details for this apartment in Chateau de Corrige are as follows:
One month´s deposit to be paid at time of reservation. Rent to be paid in advance at the start of each month. Electricity and water are included in the rental price (although a supplement will apply for excessive/abnormal use). Customers are required to pay for a firewood delivery (which the Owner can arrange on your behalf) and also to refill the gas central heating tank at the end of the stay (based on consumed units of fuel). The Owner has a cat which has adopted the Chateau as her home. It doesn´t enter the apartment and sleeps in the laundry room. But the Owner will require guests to feed the cat.
Minimum stay is 3 months.
