From the street, the house looks like a small cottage, but when you step inside you will find a large double garage, 3/4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious terrace and a comfortable living room. With full WiFi, Satellite TV and central heating, this Marseillan house in is ideally set up for long term rentals. The house is within a few minutes walk of the harbour, restaurants and shops and is 4km from the beach at Marseillan plage.
The house comprises of 150m2 of living space on four levels. You enter the house on ground level where there is a garage and parking for a car. In the garage you will find the washing machine and a ´beer fridge´. Stairs take you up to the First floor where you will find a large double bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. There is a further double room with bed settee. This is currently used as a home office, but it does have a sliding wooden screen which can close the room off to form another bedroom. This room is extremely handy if you have guests or family members staying.
On the Second floor there is an open plan living area with lounge, dining room and kitchen. The dining room has table and 6 chairs and the kitchen has a breakfast bar, dish washer, oven, hob and fridge freezer. The lounge has comfortable seating, a TV (with Satellite channels), WiFi internet, stereo and doors leading out onto the spacious terrace. The terrace is a nice sunny spot, with a large wooden table, chairs and hammocks! The Third floor comprises a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower room and w.c.
Off street parking: please note that the house is located on a small street in the centre of the town. It is perfectly possible to park a small car in the garage, but larger vehicles will require careful maneuvering to access the garage.
The base rental price for this Marseillan house is €900 per month, excluding utility bills. The Owner does however offer an all inclusive price of €1100 per month which covers all the utility costs (Electric, Gas, Water, Phone, Internet and community taxes). Linen and towels can be supplied if required.
Minimum rental period is 3 months. Prices quoted are for a 6 month rental. The house is available to rent from October through to April.
Not available: May to September, although please do enquire if you require a longer stay. The owner may be able to accommodate this, depending upon his circumstances.
The owner does have a Citroen Mehari (open top beach car) which he will consider hiring to guests, if required.

If you´re looking for a long term rental property in South France near the coast, yet within walking distance of restaurants, shops and bars; then this house in Marseillan is ideal. The house provides the charm of living in the heart of an old French town, combined with easy access to the beaches, airports, motorways and the TGV train. Within walking distance of the property is the lovely harbourside, where you will find a number of restaurants, bars and shops. In total, the house can sleep up to 8 people, but it is probably more suited to a couple with frequent guests or a small family. Highly recommended.

This Marseillan house for long term rentals is just a five minute walk away from the harbour area. Here you will find cafes and restaurants selling top quality food for excellent value for money. The Languedoc is renowned for its shellfish and you do not have to go very far to sample mussels and oysters harvested from nearby. A glorious sandy beach is located just three kilometres away at Marseillan Plage.
Marseillan is an exceptionally pleasant and attractive small town, one of the few remaining unspoilt harbours in the South of France, lying close to the sea but not on it. The house is located in the inner part of the Marseillan which is very "picturesque". The Languedoc Coast and beaches are only 5 minutes away by car. On this lovely beach going from Sete to Marseillan you can always find room. If you fancy walking the Cevennes just 1 hour ride by car. There is a local market in Marseillan twice a week. On Tuesday morning Marseillan hosts a traditional market with food, clothing and housekeeping.
Marseillan is located 10 minutes from the A9 autoroute and provides easy access to the nearby towns of Agde, Beziers, Cap d´Agde and Sete
