The villa is laid out on 2 floors. You enter onto the ground floor, where you will find a spacious living room with dining table, bookcases, 2 large sofas, 2 armchairs, coffee table and a large flat screen TV (with satellite channels). The living room also has a wonderful wood burning stove which keeps the villa lovely and warm during the winter months. The villa also comes with electric radiators throughout (although these are often not needed when the fire is burning). The living room is a great space to spend your evenings, especially during the winter months. The living room contains two sets of patio doors. One looks out onto the swimming pool and garden, the other onto the covered terrace and over to the village.
Next to the living room there is a fully equipped kitchen containing an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and plenty of cooking utensils. There are also further fridges and a deep freezer in the garage. The kitchen contains a small kitchen island where you can enjoy a morning coffee or take your lunch. Also on the ground floor there is a guest toilet and steps down to a laundry room (with washing machine, iron, sink and storage cupboards). Next to the laundry room there is a large double garage, which provides plenty of space for storage.
A set of stairs leads up to the first floor. Here you will find 3 double bedrooms. The master bedroom contains a double bed, small balcony (overlooking the village) and an en suite bathroom (with shower, toilet and wash basin). Bedroom 2 comes with a double bed and Bedroom 3 is currently fitted with a double bed, although twin beds can be installed). The family bathroom contains a bath, overhead shower and wash basin. Outside: There is a covered terrace at the side of the villa which is the perfect space to enjoy evening meals. The terrace can be accessed from both the living room and the kitchen. On the terrace you can hear the local stream bubbling away and you have beautiful views of the ancient Chateau in the centre of the village. There is a large swimming pool which comes with an all-weather cover. The pool is warm enough to swim in from April through to October. The pool has an advanced control system, so you virtually have to do very little to ensure that the pool is kept clean and clear. Surrounding the pool there is a sun terrace with plenty of deck chairs and sunbeds. The villa comes with a good sized garden which features mature trees, lawn, shrubs and a herb garden. As part of the rental agreement, tenants will be asked to keep on top of the garden or to employ a local gardener (although it is fairly low maintenance - just the ocassional weeding, pruning and mowing the grass).
