Maison Felix is a large 5 bed holiday rental in the charming hill-top village of Neffies, South France. The property can easily accommodate up to 10-14 people and comes with a large swimming pool, plenty of parking and 5 en-suite bedrooms. Maison Felix is a short walk away from 2 excellent restaurants, a shop and a popular wine bar.
Neffies is surrounded by vineyards and is a short drive to the Mediterranean coast, as well as the popular market town of Pezenas. This is a great location for a family vacation in the South of France.
Large holiday rental South France - facilities
Maison Felix is laid out over 2 floors. All the bedrooms come with their own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are suites, each with their own lounge and kitchenette.
Ground floor
- There is a large living room with long dining table, large corner seating and a basic kitchenette (with sink, American fridge, microwave and storage for plates, cups, glasses and cutlery). There are also barbecue facilities in the garden.
- There is a guest toilet on this floor.
- Bedroom 1 is a lovely en-suite double bedroom (160 x 200) with antique wardrobe. A set of French windows provide access to the front terrace (with ramp access). The bathroom comes with a large walk-in shower, WC and wash basin. This bedroom is adapted for wheelchair access, with extra wide doorways and the bathroom can accommodate a shower chair.
First floor
- Bedroom 2 is a large family suite with lounge which can convert to 2 single beds, kitchenette, bathroom and a double bedroom (160x 200)
- Bedroom 3 is a spacious bedroom with double bed (160 x 200)and en-suite shower room.
- Bedroom 4 comes with a double bed (160 x 200) and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has views out towards the village.
- Bedroom 5 is a large family suite with double bedroom, kitchenette and a bathroom. The lounge has a convertible corner sofa (2 singles), dining table and French windows which look out over the garden and comes with views of the village.
Outside
- The large swimming pool (10m x 5m) is set to the side of the property and is surrounded by a large sun terrace with deck chairs.
- In the garden there are plenty of places to sit out and enjoy a meal. There is a barbecue and a trampoline.
- There is parking for several cars.
Maison Felix large holiday rental South France - prices
Maison Felix is available for rent on a weekly basis during July and August for €4,700 per week. The rental price includes the linen, towels and end of stay cleaning. The Owners also provide a continental breakfast every morning and a private chef is available to hire should you wish to plan a special meal.

Maison Felix large holiday rental with South France - Our Opinion
Maison Felix is a very spacious holiday rental property and can easily accommodate 2 families sharing together, groups of friends or multi-generational family group. The property is set in a quiet location on the edge of the village and is an ideal spot for a family holiday in the South of France.
Neffies is a great location - ideal for visiting the beach and also touring the local vineyards. There is one of the best restaurants in the area (Le Very´Table) located in the centre of the village, just walking distance away.

Maison Felix is situated in the village of Neffies, which is an excellent location for visitors to explore this beautiful corner of France. Located on the edge of the “Parc Naturel regional du Haute-Languedoc” the surrounding vineyards produce award-winning wine, many of which can be sampled at the village Cave Co-operative. Also in the village is a bakers, for your daily baguette and morning croissants, and there is a well-stocked provisions store, which has a meat and deli counter. A van visits once a week selling fresh seafood, including local oysters and mussels direct from the producers. The village also provides a post office, children’s play area and tennis courts. The family-friendly bar serves French fare lunchtimes and evenings, with great views from their terrace. Alternatively, one of the best restaurants in the area is tucked behind Neffies’ Gothic church.
Less than fifteen minutes drive away (or you could take the bus, which stops near the property) is the ancient market town of Pezenas, with it`s atmospheric old quarter, artist’s studios and boutiques, and wide variety of bars and restaurants. There is also a fabulous market on Saturday, and on Friday evenings during the summer there are wine tasting events with the added bonus of the shops staying open until midnight.
A thirty-five minute drive will take you to the Mediterranean coastal resorts where you’ll find long stretches of sandy beaches with safe, shallow waters for swimming, all kinds of water sports, and a lively buzz in the cafes and bars. Some of the many family attractions here include a Dinosaur Park (near Meze), an African Animal reserve (Sigean), Aqualand water park (Cap D’Agde) and the Aquarium at Montpellier.
Explore the bustling port of Sete, built on a confluence of canals, and watch the local spectacle of water jousting. Meander through the narrow cobbled streets of the regional capital, Montpellier, with its shady squares and exclusive boutiques. Or just simply relax by the pool.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station located at Montpellier, Beziers and Agde. Local bus services run from each of these towns to Pezenas, with connecting bus routes to Roujan and Neffies.

Un séjour fabuleux, dans un cadre magnifique, merci aux hôtes pour ce super cadre, leur gentillesse et leurs conseils. Le cadre, la gentillesse et les conseils des hôtes, la décoration faite avec goût, le fait que tout soit adapté pour les enfants :)

25% deposit at time of reservation. Balance due 8 weeks before arrival (or to be paid in full if arrival is within 8 weeks of the reservation). Security deposit required (€500). All guests are required to be covered by travel insurance.
Check in after 16.00 on day of arrival. Check out before 10.00 on day of departure.
