La Source is a lovely 5 bed villa in South France with a heated private pool in the village of Aumes, close to Pezenas. This spacious holiday villa comes with air conditioning, 3 bathrooms (2 en suite), private off-road parking, summer kitchen with BBQ and Satellite TV.
The villa is located in a quiet residential area in the village and within a couple of minutes walk you can be out within the vineyards.

Large villa South France with private pool - Our Opinion
Last visited November 2021. This is a great South France villa near the beaches and Pezenas for a large family or two families holidaying together. Set amongst the vineyards this property is a great location for walking or cycling or visiting the other sites of the Languedoc region. The local beach at Meze is just 10kms away.

Area activities
Villa la Source is located in Aumes, which is a peaceful and pretty village, surrounded by vineyards. If you are looking for accommodation from which you can walk or cycle straight in to the countryside then this is for you! On the other hand, 2 minutes by car takes you to the medieval town of Pézénas with its stretch of cafés, ideal for watching the world go by and the locally renowned Saturday market.
In the village there is also a tennis court, football pitch and play area for small children a short walk away in the centre. In addition there is a ping pong table and public bbq area. Benches are dotted around the village to just sit and take in the village atmosphere. There are lovely walking and cycling paths through vineyards just moments from the house. Bikes are available for various ages, a great way to go to the Saturday Pezenas market via a small lane (approx 15 mins)
The local beach is Meze (10km away) can be followed by a meal in one of the restaurants specialising in seafood, especially the oysters from Bouzigues. The wealth of landscapes here makes for a very varied stay from the coast to the mountains with the rivers, lakes and gorges in between, not forgetting the Canal du midi. The village of Aumes itself is friendly and unspoilt.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Montpellier, Beziers and Agde. A bus service runs from both Agde and Beziers to Pezenas. There is also a frequent local bus service from the nearby town of Montagnac (1.5km) which runs to Montpellier.
