Aix-en-Provence tourism

aixThe old University town of Aix-en-Provence is a wonderful place to spend time in. Perhaps the most recognisable part of Aix is the Cours Mirabeau, the wide avenue with rows of plane-trees that follows the line of the old city wall and divides the town into two halves. Along this avenue, you will find plenty of cafés, including the Deux Garçons, which has been frequented by the likes of Paul Cézanne, Émile Zola and Ernest Hemingway.

Best places in France to visit

Places visit FranceIf I was to rank the best places in France to visit, outside of Paris of course, then this would be my top 15 places to visit. I am not saying that this is a complete list of the best tourist places in France to visit, but I have lived in France for over 10 years and before that I have toured around France quite a bit, both on holiday and with work.
