The cottage is laid out over 2 floors and provides 200 m² of living space.

Ground floor

There is an entrance hall which provides access to the lounge, dining room and bedroom, as well as stairs up to the first floor. 

• The beautiful dining room features a large open fire and a long antique dining table, with seating for 8-10 guests.
• The lounge is accessed from the entrance hall and comes with an exposed stone wall and solid wooden floor. There is a large corner sofa, pool table and table football. There is also a flat screen TV (smart TV with Netflix). 
• The modern kitchen contains a large range cooker, American fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and plenty of storage space.
• The Bedroom 1 comes with 2 single beds, a large stone fireplace and storage shelves.
• There is a bathroom with a shower and wash basin. There is a separate toilet

First floor

The first floor has solid wooden floors and contains a long corridor which provides access to the 4 bedrooms and bathrooms. 

• The Master bedroom is a very large room with a King-size double bed, original fireplace, antique dressing table and large wardrobe. There is an en suite bathroom which comes with a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.
• Bedroom 3 is accessed from the Master bedroom and comes with 2 single beds. There is a small bath in the bedroom, with overhead shower. This is perfect for bathing small children.
• Bedroom 4 is fitted with a double bed and also comes with an antique baby cot. The bedroom features the original stone fireplace and a wardrobe.
• Bedroom 5 is a large room with 3 single beds.
• The family bathroom is fitted with a small bath (with overhead shower, a walk-in shower and stylish wash basin

Outside

• There is a lovely garden (1000m²) which comes with a lawn, courtyard and several seating areas, including a large covered terrace located in a former barn. From every corner of the garden you have a view of the tower of the town's Romanesque church. 
• There is a children's play area in the garden with swings and a trampoline.
• The heated swimming pool is 6m x 3m and comes with a pool alarm. It is a salt water pool. Surrounding the pool there is a deck with seating area. The pool has nice views back over the garden towards the church tower.
• There is a Jacuzzi located in the courtyard.
• There is parking for 2 cars.

Large cottage to rent in Dordogne France - prices

Maison aux Volets Bleus can be rented on a weekly basis throughout the year. The rental prices are based on a minimum stay of 5 nights and during July and August the changeover day is a Saturday. The maximum sleeping capacity is 13 guests. The rental price includes the linen, towels, and end of stay cleaning. The house comes equipped with baby & toddler equipment and toys for all ages. The pool heater is normally used during May-June and September-October.

The low season prices are based on an occupancy level of 4-6 people. Additional guests will be charged at €20 per per person per night. High rates will apply for Christmas, New Year and Public holidays.
