La Grande École is a large holiday rental property in South France that can sleep up to 23 people. The property is located in the wine producing village of Roujan in the Languedoc region of Southern France and comes with a large private pool, extensive terrace, 10 en suite bedrooms and 3 large reception rooms.
Roujan is surrounded by vineyards in all directions and close-by you have the excellent Faugeres, Saint Chinian and Picpoul de Pinet vineyards. In the village there are a couple of restaurants, shops, boulangeries, 2 popular bars and a large supermarket. The beautiful town of Pezenas is just down the road and the Mediterranean beaches are a short drive away.
This is the perfect space for a large family reunion, special occasion or for a group of friends coming to France on holiday. On site, there is a large reception room which can be hired for events or seminars. A private chef can also be arranged to cater for meals and parties.

La Grande École is housed in the former village school, with the play ground transformed into a landscaped garden with private pool and a large sun terrace. Inside, the property has been converted into 3 adjoining holiday rentals - two 3 bedroom rentals and one 4 bedroom rental. Each comes with its own spacious open-plan living room and kitchen, located in the former classrooms.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
- The bedrooms are all located on the first floor of the building. In total, there are 10 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom.
- The majority of the bedrooms come with King-size beds, which can also be converted into twin beds.
- One of the bedrooms can sleep 3 people and is fitted with a single bed and a set of bunk beds. This room is ideal for children.
