Last visited December 2019. If you´re looking for holiday accommodation close to the coast and the beaches of South France, then this vacation home in Marseillan is the one for you. It is comfortable and well-equipped. In the centre of town so you have the charm of an old French town, combined with easy access to the beaches, facilities and nightlife of Marseillan and Cap d´Agde. Within walking distance of the property is the harbour and a number of restaurants, bars and shops. A lovely court yard for sitting and eating in.
This Marseillan South of France vacation home is just a three minute walk away from the harbour. Here you will find cafes and restaurants. The Languedoc is renowned for its shellfish and you do not have to go very far to sample mussels and oysters harvested from nearby in Bouzigues. A glorious sandy beach is located just three kilometres away at Marseillan Plage but there are many others close by too.
Marseillan is an exceptionally pleasant and attractive small town, one of the few remaining unspoilt harbours in the South of France, lying close to the sea but not on it. The house is located in the inner part of the Marseillan. The Languedoc Coast and beaches are only 5 minutes away by car. There is a local market in Marseillan twice a week. On Tuesday morning Marseillan hosts a traditional market with food, clothing and housekeeping.
There is a TGV train station in the nearby town of Agde (4km).

We have stayed in this lovely house in Marseillan on a number of occasions. The house is perfectly located, in a quiet part of the old town, it is only a short walk from the centre of Marseillan and the harbour. The downstairs of the house has an open plan layout, which we loved, with a very well equipped kitchen and a downstairs w/c. The open plan layout means there is ample space for cooking, eating and relaxing. The enclosed courtyard is a real bonus where you can BBQ and eat outdoors, it is shaded from the sun in the evenings and is completely private. The two large bedrooms, each with its own ensuite facilities, are located over two separate floors, which gives a great feeling of privacy when sharing the house with other adults. We have stayed in this house a number of times and I have no hesitation about recommending this property to others, it is well equipped and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Marseillan itself has a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars and is a good base for exploring the Languedoc area.

This is a fine townhouse, just two or three minutes walk from the centre of Marseillan and five minutes from the beautiful harbour and marina. If anything, some of the photo`s don`t do justice to the size and quality of the accommodation, which was perfect for our group of two adults and two children. The bedrooms, in particular, on separate floors, had lots of space and charm, each having their own en suite facilities. The downstairs open plan kitchen, dining and living area was perfect for living and eating, with an option to eat in the enclosed court yard, which is protected from the sun.
Marseillan is a good place to use as a base to see the area. The beach is only a few miles away and there are lots of interesting places to see close by.
I would recommend the property without reservation and hope to be able to return.

We enjoyed a wonderful short break at this house in Marseillan. The house is full of character, and very comfortable and homely. Having two en suite bathrooms was great and there was plenty of room for four adults. There is lots to see and do both in Marseillan itself and the surrounding area and I would thoroughly recommend La Petite Maison Blanche as an ideal base. The large, shady private cortyard was a particular highlight and we enjoyed breakfast and bbqs out there. Marseillan is a fabulous place with lots of character and a very relaxed feel. The house is perfectly positioned in the old part of town, only a few minutes walk from the town centre and harbour, and also walking distance from two supermarkets.
