Last visited Spring 2009. This South France long term let is a few minutes walk from the centre of the village with its tree planted square and fountain in the quaint village of Nizas which is located in a picturesque, unspoiled area surrounded by vineyards and fields of lavender and thyme. Pezenas is only 5 minutes drive away. Nizas is conveniently located to explore the sites of Languedoc Roussillon. Whether you are house hunting or having an extended holiday this property is ideal.
Nizas is a late medieval village built in a circular style typical to that epoch. It has a charming Cafe where you meet everyone for afternoon and evening drinks. For a real treat, the village baker stops his van on the street nearby, selling fresh baguettes, country bread, and cakes and providing an opportunity for people to chat. There is also a handy village store nearby that sells most of the basics that you need. There are wonderful markets in nearby villages. It is a five-minute drive to Pezenas with its exquisite Renaissance and medieval architecture, restaurants, antique shops, narrow streets and supermarkets. The golden beaches of the Mediterranean are only a twenty-minute drive. Montpellier International airport is a forty-five minute drive.
