There is a 10m x 5m pool, surrounded by extensive terracing and in a completely private setting.

Large holiday rental in France with magnificent views, ideally sleeps 10 (but 12 is possible) - 4 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, 2nd sitting room which can be a 5th double bedroom and additional cloakroom/w.c. There are 2 double bedrooms and 3 twin bed rooms - the 5th being a second living room or bedroom with 3 beds. There is also a sofa bed.

There is UK satellite TV and wifi throughout the house.

The elegant and spacious main salon and dining room have a combined area of 62 m². The exposed beams, large stone fireplace and solid wood flooring create a gracious warm ambience. Doors door lead onto the front terrace which has wonderful views.
The fully equipped modern kitchen has a terracotta tiled floor and French doors opening out to an al-fresco breakfast table. There is an adjacent utility room with washing machine, dryer etc.

Outside - A superb 10 x 5 meter pool set in an extensive and sheltered palm-fringed terrace, also with wonderful views – just the place to relax with a glass of wine and book in hand. There is an outside dining area surrounded by oleander and pomegranate trees. Also available, garden furniture and BBQ. Pine woods, palm trees, figs, sweet almond trees surround the holiday rental. The property is approached by a drive bordered with olive and fig trees and, having passed through stone pillared electric gates. There is a separate orchard area and more than 150 olive trees. A stone stairway passes down through two terraced levels of quince and citrus trees and leads to a seculed grassy area. The gardens are stocked with Mediterranean plants – irises, lavender, oleanders, yuccas, ornamental cherry, mimosa – and in the spring daffodils and tulips. Ivy and Virginia creeper adorn the old stone walls of the main house.

The old wine production cave, which is attached to the house, has original impressive oak vats and stone cuves. It has very high ceilings with handsome carpentry. It is believed that wine producing stopped in this domain about 30 years ago but it still retains all the charm and originality of its past working life. There remains a quarter hectare of planted grapes (more than 850 vines.)

The character property can sleep up to 12 in 5 double bedrooms, the house is very spacious and the grounds are magnificent. An ideal holiday rental in France for 2 families holidaying together.

The nearest village to Holiday rental in France is just 1km where you find an excellent restaurant, bar-café, baker, general store. A large village is some 3 kms distant with 2 lively bars and more restaurants. Choice of superb golf courses - Beziers, Cap D' Agde, Lamalou - all about 30 mins .

The historical market town of Pézenas, which is situated between Montpellier and Beziers, just 15 minutes drive away. Here you find 4 major supermarkets, some excellent restaurants. It is also well-known for its many antique and bric-a-brac shops. A half hour drive will take you to a choice of Mediterranean beaches - from the liveliness of Cap d'Agde to the 17 mile sandy stretch that leads to the town of Sete.

Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday (check in 4pm check out by 10am unless agreed in advance.
25% deposit of total rent payable is required before a booking can be confirmed.
A refundable deposit of €600 to cover any major breakages or serious damage is required with the 2nd rental payment, i.e. 8 weeks before the booking starts.
