Last visited December 2009. This holiday cottage in France provides spacious accommodation for 6 people with a terrace on top. This holiday cottage is ideal if you want to find self-catering accommodation close to Pezenas, but still be situated amongst the vineyards. Nezignan l'Eveque is conveniently located to explore the sites Languedoc Roussillon and the South of France.

Holiday cottage in France is ideal for a family holiday with sandy Mediterranean beaches 20 minutes away - visit Grau d'Agde, Portiragnes Plage andValras Plage. As an alternative to the beach for the children their is 'Aqualand', a giant water park in the chic resort of Cap d'Agde.

The village has a range of shops including a baker, butcher, newsagent, grocer, post office, tourist office, hairdresser, bar, hotel/restaurant and medical centre. Nezignan L'Eveque holds a Music and Wine Festival every July. Other celebrations include Fete L'Ete (June), Bastille (July), Fete Local (July)

The surrounding area is a wine lover's paradise with a multitude of local vineyards providing some excellent wines. A 5 minute drive from the lively medival town of Pezenas, home of Moliere, with its period architecture anda great choice of restaurants, pavement cafes, art galleries, museums, boutiques anda super Saturday market.

The Canal du Midi, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESO is 15 minutes away. The canal is ideal for hiring barges, cycling or walking along the towpath. There is superb walking available in the Montagnes Noires, there is also Lac Salagou for wonderful freshwater lake swimming and water sports. Close by are the cities of Beziers (15mins), Montpellier (50mins), Carcassonne (60mins) and Nimes (90mins). Further afield are Provence, Andorra and Barcelona.
