The village of Pinet is 15 minutes to the beach at Marseillan, 10 minutes to Pezenas and 10 minutes to the Etang du Thau famous for it's oysters.

Last visited January 2009. A newly refurbished holiday gite within 10 mins of the beach. An additional holiday gite will also become available during 2009. The holiday gite benefits from parking and a small area of outside space. If you are looking for an inexpensive holiday rental near the beaches the holiday gite in Pinet, South of France is for you.

Surrounding these holiday gites, South of France, is the village of Pinet, made famous by the wine Picpoul de Pinet with a popultaion of 1500 people. The village is surrounded by vineyards, the gite is in the centre of the village next to the church. The village has all you need on your holiday incluidng 2 bakeries, a bar/cafe, general store, newsagents/tabac, cave at the end of the road. There is a market day once a week. Pizza take away and the bar offers food.

Nearby Florensac is a short 5 minutes drive and has a Spar supermarket, garages, restaurants and pizzeria.
Marseillan Plage with lovely sandy beaches, is 15 minutes away (13km) and Marseillan on the Etang du Thau is famous for Oysters and Mussels. 15k from Adge which has a beautiful fishing port and the lively Cap d'Agde - beaches, harbour, waterside restaurants, huge water park Aqualand, water sports, casino, nightclubs, discos are approximately 30 minutes drive. 30km from Sete and the wonderful beaches and water jousting. Pinet is also 10 minites from Pezenas, 30 from Montpellier and 20 to Beziers.
