This holiday accommodation is a restored townhouse in the charming town of Marseillan, near Cap d'Agde. The accommodation is very well equipped house covering 160 m2, and is well suited for 6 people. The Mediterranean coast is just 5km by car with access to some very nice beaches. In Marseillan itself there are bars, restaurants, shopping and a little port all within 2 minutes walk of your accommodation. Cap d'Agde is a short drive away and provides all the facilities that you need.

This accommodation near Cap d'Agde has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely living room with a fireplace. Wifi internet. At the upper level there is a big kitchen directly connected with a roof terrace. The house has all the necessary kitchen equipment including fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven and cook plate. There is also a BBQ for outdoor cooking on those warm South of France days. The 2 bedrooms are located at the bottom level , and one bedroom and the living room at the middle level. The roof terrace is in 2 levels with 25 sqm at the bottom partly covered and another 10 sqm above from where you have a beautiful view over Marseillan towards the Cevennes Mountains.

Last visited October 2009. If you're looking for spacious accommodation near Cap d'Agde for up to 6 people, close to the coast and the beaches, then this could be the one for you. As a holiday accommodation or even a long term let, Old Marseillan House is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. You have the best of both worlds, the charm of an old French town, combined with easy access to the beaches, facilities and nightlife of Cap d'Agde. Within walking distance of the property is the harbour and a number of restaurants, bars and shops. Lovely views from the top terrace.

Change-overs for accommodation Cap d'Agde are on Saturday, to arrive after 4.00 p.m., and to leave by 10.00 a.m. Cleaning is included in the price for the accommodation. Possibility to rent linen/towels as well as buy wood for the fireplace.

The locality: Marseillan is an exceptionally pleasant and attractive small town, one of the few remaining unspoilt harbours in the South of France, lying close to the sea but not on it. The house is located in the inner part of the Marseillan which is very "picturesque". As such, it's a marvellous place to relax and an excellent spot for discovering the Languedoc 'entre mer et montagne' (with a lot of grapes in-between). The Languedoc Coast and beaches are only 5 minutes away by car. On this lovely beach going from Sete to Marseillan you can always find room. If you fancy walking the Cevennes just 1 hour ride by car. Here you have a lot of tourist attractions. Canoeing/Rafting, Sailing, Golf, Caves, hill walking and wine tasting. There is a local market in Marseillan twice a week. On Tuesday morning Marseillan hosts a traditional market with food, clothing and housekeeping. On Friday evening Marseillan is taken over by the "marche artinasale" with all kinds of stuff - painting, clothing, handcrafts. The restaurants, attractions and nightclubs of Cap d'Agde are also close at hand.

You can reach accommodation Cap d'Agde by taking the A9 to just north of Beziers. Come off at Junction 34 and take the N312 to Agde/Cap d'Agde. Follow the signposts for Agde centre Ville. When you reach the River Herault that flows through the centre of Agde, follow the signposts to Marseillan. You will cross over the River and arrive at a roundabout. Cross straight over the roundabout towards Marseillan. Marseillan is a 3 minutes drive from both Agde and cap d'Agde.

You can reach accommodation Cap d'Agde - Marseillan and the South of France quite easily from Paris. Take the TGV from central Paris to Montpellier. At Montpellier catch the local train to Sete and Beziers. Get off the train at Agde. Marseillan is a short taxi ride from Agde train station.
