It is just steps away from the local bakers , butchers, general store, pharmacy, bar, tabac and post office. For the more energetic there is a lovely swimming pool at the local campsite(2kms) and tennis courts and boules in the village. Within 2 minutes walk you will find yourself amidst the vineyards of this famous wine region.

A wonderful holiday rental in Languedoc Roussillon,with a private terrace. The charming village of Laurens is the ideal spot for a self catering holiday in the South of France.

Holiday rental Languedoc Roussillon is ideally situated to explore the wonderful Herault region, whether it be canoeing down the River Orb, enjoying water sports on Lac de Salagou, relaxing on the Mediterranean beaches (30mins) or visiting local historic towns such as Beziers (30mins) or Pezenas (20 mins) with its bustling Saturday market, or enjoying day trips to the ancient fortified city of Carcassonne or shopping in the vibrant university city of Montpellier.

Laurens is situated just off the D909, between Pezenas and Bedarieux. It is 30 minutes from the historic town of Beziers and is midway between Montpellier and St. Chinian. In the centre of the famous Faugeres appellation, this is very much a wine producing area and there is an excellent wine outlet in the village selling a great range of local wines. There is a selection of basic shops, cafe/bar, playground, tennis courts and boules court in the village. The swimming pool and restaurant at the local campsite (2kms) are open to the public (July/Aug only) at a small charge and are highly recommended. Also on offer there, are horse-riding and paint-ball. Golf courses can be found at Beziers and Lamalou les Bains (20 mins).Chateau Grezan (2kms) ,an ancient fortified chateau from the times of the Knight Templars, is a pleasant stroll or cycle through the vineyards. Here you will find a superb restaurant and the main Faugeres office where you can learn the history of wine production in the region. More restaurants (including a pizzeria), cafes, supermarket and bank can be found in Magalas , only 8kms away. The pretty town of Pezenas (20minutes) abounds with charm and character, plenty of restaurants and perhaps the best market in the whole of the region (Saturday). Within easy reach of the Mediterranean coast (35minutes) and all its attractions, this is village ideal for a holiday and for exploring the surrounding area.

Strictly no smoking except on the terrace. Due to the steep stairs this property is unsuitable for the elderly or infirm. Young children welcome at parents discretion. All cleaning of property (including bed linen) during your stay is your responsibility. Refundable breakages deposit of £75 payable on arrival to be refunded on departure less any damages subject to inspection of property.
Non-refundable deposit of £100 required upon booking of property. Balance of rental fee to be paid in full 6 weeks before commencement of stay. Total fee payable if booking is made 6 weeks or less before departure. A refund of up to 50% will be considered for all cancellations received more than 6 weeks before departure. For cancellations 6 weeks or less before commencement of holiday period there will be no refund.
