Villa Beziers, Herault is a lovely modern villa with all mod cons and all you need for a holiday in the South of France. With swimming pool and garden and the interior is well equipped and of a high standard. Poihes itself has restaurants which are within walking distance of the holiday home rental, it is also within easy reach of all the attractions of the Languedoc region.

France holiday villa is in Poilhes which is a quiet village but has a shop which sells a good variety of produce. The village is also visited weekly by the fish, meat and pizza vans.
Poilhes has two restaurants which enjoy a good local reputation. Capestang is the nearest large village and is only 5 minutes drive away. Here there is a large supermarket, petrol station and a good variety of shops and restaurants. The Canal du Midi meanders through the centre of Poilhes and is ideal for a walk or cycle ride along the shady towpath; or hire a boat or take one of the many excursions on offer from Capestang.

Fifteen minutes east of Poilhes is Beziers where you can stroll through the famous Friday Flower Market and Cathedral, and 20 minutes from Poilhes are some of the most enticing beaches in the Mediterranean. A half hour's drive south are the Roman ruins and the cathedral of Narbonne. Just outside Narbonne one can visit the magnificently restored Cistercian monastery of Fontfroide, where an incident which sparked the first Albigensian Crusade was reputed to have happened.

This is the ideal location to provide a relaxing holiday spot, whilst being within easy reach of local attractions and activities. The Mediterranean coast is 20/30 minutes drive and Montpellier, the thriving capital of the Languedoc with its international airport, is 45 minutes away by car.
